SiteHive has earned a place in the 2025 Deloitte Tech Fast 50, highlighting the company as one of Australia’s fastest-growing businesses.
The Tech Fast 50 recognises and profiles Australian technology companies that have achieved the highest rates of annual revenue growth over the past three years. It’s a testament to businesses that have grown quickly, but also responsibly – those that have balanced ambition with the discipline required to convert growth into durable value.
What is the Deloitte Tech Fast 50?
The Deloitte Tech Fast 50 is an annual program that recognises the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in Australia, based on their percentage revenue growth over the preceding three years. It celebrates both public and private companies, and past winners and participants have included companies like Atlassian and Zip.
The purpose is to identify and celebrate Australian companies that have achieved exceptional market growth. To qualify, organisations must start with a minimum of $8 million in revenue, so the percentage increase represents significant growth.
How delivering to market needs has driven SiteHive’s growth
SiteHive is listed at number 38 on the 2025 Tech Fast 50, with an average annual growth of 182% over the last three years. It highlights SiteHive’s rapid scaling and ability to succeed, and is a strong indicator of a robust business model and close market fit.
SiteHive Co-founder Adam Ferguson says, “SiteHive is very happy to be on the Tech Fast 50 list because it shows that we’re really meeting the needs of the construction and operational industries.”
“We’ve seen strong and sustained growth since we started in 2019, as more and more businesses have seen the difference that SiteHive products can make. SiteHive devices and software are transforming how environmental impact is managed.”
SiteHive has turned innovation into a business system
Inclusion in the Tech Fast 50 list closely follows SiteHive being awarded as one of Australia’s most innovative companies as a Category Winner in the 2025 AFR Boss Most Innovative Companies awards. The dual awards confirm SiteHive’s position as a leader, helping to shape the future of environmental management in the construction and operational industries.
The AFR BOSS award validates SiteHive’s commitment to challenging the status quo, developing creative solutions, and bringing genuine, game-changing innovations to the market.
SiteHive Co-founder Ben Cooper-Woolley says, “Innovation is at the core of SiteHive. We’ve built a robust system around it that allows us to continuously develop and deliver new products that solve real-world problems.”
“At SiteHive we saw how we could use technology and new ideas to make things easier and much more effective, and we worked directly with the industry to achieve this. Everything has been designed and developed at the coal face, working with real project teams facing real problems and challenges.”
The two awards also highlight the strength and commitment of the SiteHive team. SiteHive includes a broad product research and development capability aligned with a clear market focus.
Ben Cooper-Woolley says, “The dual recognition is a great testament to our amazing SiteHive team. We’ve been able to balance market growth with continued product development and innovation, and this is down to the commitment, skills and culture of the entire team. We couldn’t be prouder.”
Transforming environmental monitoring and management
SiteHive’s focus on innovation is not just about new products, but about how people can be more effective in managing environmental impact. SiteHive Hexanode devices and SiteHive Enviro software were designed to enable construction and heavy operational industries transform their processes and manage the environmental impact of noise, dust and vibration proactively, and with lower costs.
Cooper-Woolley says, “We wanted to provide people with the tools to manage environmental impacts easily, and also lower the costs of monitoring to enable more of it to be done. That leads to the proactive management of noise, dust and vibration – and lowers the impacts on communities, local businesses and the environment.”
“Using SiteHive, it’s the technology that does the heavy lifting – our tools make things much easier for the people dealing with issues and processes on sites.”
Innovation is a platform for sustained and ongoing growth
SiteHive began with a focus on the building and construction industry, but as the product set expanded so have the market opportunities. The company is now providing services to industrial operations, such as ports, mines, quarries and data centres. As well as working with local councils and community issues.
The focus on innovation extends beyond product delivery too. For example, SiteHive was the first in the industry to make its hardware and software products available on a subscription model.
Adam Ferguson says, “Traditionally, businesses had to buy their own monitoring devices – which was not only a big upfront project cost, but also resulted in obsolete devices. With SiteHive they pay a monthly subscription for devices and software, and we keep everything up to date. So now projects are always benefiting from the latest advancements, and they have way more flexibility if their needs change.”
Broad appeal and future potential
Inclusion in the Tech Fast 50 list demonstrates resilience, innovation, and rapid, sustained growth. The companies that make it generally exhibit strong operational discipline, strategic adaptation, and future potential.
From its two-person beginning as an Antler incubator project in 2019, SiteHive has grown consistently from start-up to scale-up. The core idea to make environmental management easier, better and cheaper found broad resonance in the construction market, and now is gaining traction in other industries too.
“SiteHive is now a core team of 25+ people, augmented by an ecosystem of great Australian small business partners who’ve been with us mostly from the start,” says Ferguson. “We’re on over 350 projects across Australia and New Zealand, and we have around 1000 monitoring devices in the field, managing noise, dust and vibration across Australia and New Zealand.”
“We’ll continue to focus on innovation that drives productivity and delivers real benefits to our clients and industries. We’re looking forward to seeing the growth continue, as we’ve built a robust business model that delivers sustainable growth and value.”
