SiteHive is moving to .com!

SiteHive is moving from .co to .com – it’s a small but important change that strengthens the company’s brand as we continue to grow.

Right from the start of SiteHive, our brand has been really important to us – it’s what makes us, “us”. We work hard to make it engaging, distinctive and recognisable at every level – from the orange hexagon electronics boards inside our SiteHive Hexanode devices (unseen by most people, but we know they’re there🧡) to our core organisational values.

Our name is SiteHive; our colour is orange; our shape is hexagonal; our mission is environmental management and our game is innovation!😀

When it came to setting up our very first website in 2019, however, we were disappointed to discover that domain squatters owned sitehive.com. At the time, the price for us to buy it was 8% of our total budget for that year! We had a lot of other things we wanted to do with that money – so we ended up selecting sitehive.co as our domain.

Fast forward to 2026 and SiteHive has grown over 10x, while the cost of the sitehive.com domain has remained relatively stable. That’s made it much more affordable. So we decided now was the time to get that extra “m” and transition to sitehive.com!

Which means that, from March onwards, we are moving to a new online home at sitehive.com.

What’s does that mean?

SiteHive is transitioning our website, company email addresses, Support Centre and product platform from .co to the .com domain.

The updates will begin from March, starting with the main sitehive.co website and then all our email addresses. Our Support Centre and product platform will transition over the following weeks.

The changes will be invisible for anyone using our websites, and all the current addresses will continue to work as usual. Our web, support and product sites will look the same – it’s just the domain that’s changing.

What if you’re visiting our websites or emailing with us?

• Online access, including our website, Support Centre and SiteHive Enviro platforms: The current .co domain will automatically redirect users to the new .com addresses, so your access won’t be affected.
• Emails: from us From mid March, emails you receive from us will be in the format name@sitehive.com.

We do recommend updating your current SiteHive contacts/addresses and bookmarking the new websites once the changes have occurred, so that longer term you are accessing the new domain directly and your system recognises our @sitehive.com email addresses.

When will the changes happen?

• The sitehive.co website and our email addresses will be updated by mid March.
• Our Support Centre and product platforms will transition over the following weeks.

Are there any other changes?

.co to .com is the only change — otherwise it’s same team, same services, just a new online home!
